Local fishermen, captains and Carl Darenberg, Sr. became valued acquaintances whenever Hy found the time to fish here and his wife became a member of the Montauk "fishing widows" Club.

With helicopters overhead taking photos and another boat filled with camera crews, the Apprentice Cruise was sensational.
