The Montauk Update
Teenager Falls From A Bus
Composed by David Lion Rattiner
Right by Ditch Plains Road, a large and luxurious party bus was rented by a group of teenagers for some nighttime fun when things went terribly wrong. A teenage boy from Hampton Bays was seriously injured when he fell out the window of the bus, falling to the street below. Police responded to the scene which took place last Saturday night. The boy was airlifted to Stony Brook University Hospital.
Adios Madoff
Bernie Madoff is now in prison and will be there until the day he dies. The man who simply boggles the mind, now has a lot of stuff being liquidated. Federal prosecutors indicated that they will expect Bernie to give up $17 million in cash, $45 million in bonds, as well as his Montauk home and other luxury items.
Fishermen Feel The Pain
Montauk fishermen are making headlines as the economics of commercial fishing are making less and less sense. Commerical fishing catches are drastically down because of increased regulation. One fisherman, J.J. Hand, a third generation Montauk fisherman, has reportedly not been fishing for over a year and moved his work to a tugboat out of Brooklyn to make a living.
St. Patricks Day
Once again, St. Patricks Day is here, proving once again, that Montauk is the best place to be in the entire Universe. That includes some parallel universe known as the "Super Hot Naked Women Solar System."
