Every single morning I take a stroll down Ditch Plains beach. It is a magical place on the planet, I know I am beating this to death like so many others, but I just can't help myself to express to as many people as possible how lucky we are to be living in Montauk. What a wonderful place. We have it all!

Dear David Lion,

I had an amazing experience at the video store in Montauk that I wanted to tell you about. Now that it is fall, I am finding myself heading down to the video store in Montauk more and more because I love watching movies. I was stuck and couldn't think of finding a good movie, and before I knew it, I was talking to the clerk at the counter who knew more about movies than anybody I had ever met.

Anyway, the point is that today, with the world of the Internet and everything else, it becomes rare to get that personal feel with business. Kids these days really don't know what they are missing. I just wanted to stress the importance of what a small business provides for our community and how great it is to know that in Montauk at least, we are keeping them here. The video store in Montauk is a real tresure and so are all of the other small businesses that keep Montauk going.
