Instructions
1. Mix your blue and white paint to make a nice light sky blue color. Paint the top half
of the Chalkboard frame sky blue.
2. Mix a little bit of brown paint with white and yellow to create a sand color. Paint the
bottom half of the chalkboard frame with the sand color.
3. Create a nice grey by mixing a little black with some white. Paint the anchor grey
and set aside to dry.
4. For the crab start off by painting his claws pure red. For the body mix red and a
little yellow for an orange-red hue. Add a little white to the color you mixed for
the body and use it to paint the legs. Paint the eyes white and set aside to dry.
5. Mix equal parts of red and blue with white to create a nice purple for the seahorse.
Paint the seahorse purple.Add some of your mixed purple color to a drop of white
paint. With this lighter purple make some quick brush stokes around the edges
of the shape for some accent color. Set seahorse aside to dry.
6. In the leaves of the palm tree draw 3 circles as coconuts. Paint the top of the palm
tree green and the trunk brown. Mix some yellow with a drop of brown and pain
in the coconuts. Using the same color you used on the coconuts add some accent
brush stokes to the trunk.Add a little green to a drop of white and use it to make
accent stokes on the leaves.
7. After our wooden shapes are dry it's time to get the Sharpie and add in some more
accents. On the anchor make some marks with the Sharpie around the outer
edges. On the crab outline his body and add some short marks to the rest of the
edges, make black circles in the eyes.Trace the coconuts on your pine tree and add
an eye to your seahorse.
8. Hot glue all of the wooden cutouts on to the chalkboard and enjoy!
