Hampton Style - June 13, 2008

All I can say is WOW. The wonderful feedback and compliments we've been receiving about our relaunched Hampton Style are as profuse as the beautiful Rhododendrons blooming all over the East End. I don't know which makes me smile more... OK, yes I do. It's the compliments on Hampton Style. While we have only nature to credit for a gorgeous Rhododendron, but it's our Hampton Style staff who have made all of these recent compliments possible. That will make me smile long after the rhododendrons give way to the hydrangeas. I want to send a big bouquet of roses out to all our staff: nice job, gang! And we couldn't be more pleased that you all appreciate their efforts. Feel free to keep sending over your approval and your suggestions on how we could improve (Kathy@danspapers.com). I'm also getting calls about our Hampton Style-wrapped Hampton Jitney. For those of you who have yet to see the bright-blue bus boasting four of our covers and cruising midtown Manhattan and the Hamptons, be careful, because it frequently stops traffic. It's a head-turner and it's out on the roads throughout the summer! Our relationship with the Jitney goes back to its earliest days, so we're delighted to have wrapped ourselves around one of their motor coaches. That's one of the nicest things about being part of a company that has been publishing in the Hamptons for almost 50 years; our relationships are strong and our roots are deep. I smile every time I see "our" Hampton Jitney drive by ... I'm doing a lot of smiling these days!
