Our covergirl, Ashley Olsen is turning the fashion world upside down with her new design label "The Row," a stylish incarnation of her own much-

imitated personal style that can now be snapped up at such discerning stores as Jimmy's in Westhampton Beach. This talented entrepreneur still finds time to help others by lending her time, money and name to the Juvenile Diabetes organization, a worthy cause she is championing this weekend in the Hamptons. And how did this all come about? At the personal invitation of Betsy and Dominick Lepore, the exuberant and stylish owners of Jimmy's, a mecca of haute couture. Betsy first met Ashley a year and a half ago when the glamorous designer was personally showing her collection to a hand-selected crop of stores. (The collection is repped by Rae Miles, an industry legend who has known the Lepores for 20 years.) Betsy invited Ashley out this weekend for an invitation-only fundraiser that is set to raise serious awareness and funding for this worthy cause, a cause that is close to both Ashley and her Hamptons-based hosts. I'm looking forward to personally welcoming Ashley to the neighborhood.

Speaking of 'best dressed," what comes to mind when you hear these words? We know from the lists that appear every year that it seems only to apply to celebrities and the very rich who can indulge themselves with the latest pair of Jimmy Choos or swath themselves in Valentino and Prada. I prefer to think of being "Best Dressed" as a state of being that radiates from the inside-out, letting the world know you're comfortable in your own skin as well as in that newest look from Gucci. Whatever your thoughts are on the subject, take a look at Hampton Style's list of Best Dressed and see if your favorite made it.
