Romance appears to spring eternal in the Hamptons for the former Beatle who was photographed kissing Nancy Shevell in front of an Amagansett sushi restaurant; the pair is now rumored to be engaged. Before Nancy, Heather Mills shared a home in Amagansett with Paul, a sprawling compound which a British court ruled would not go to her in the divorce settlement. Paul's first wife Linda is from this part of the world, with the Eastman clan spreading far and wide thoughout East Hampton and Amagansett; Paul's children grew up here with their cousins. Paul most commonly spends time here in late August and into the fall months, preferring the slower pace of this season. One year ago this weekend, Paul performed in an impromptu jam session with fellow local rockers Jon Bon Jovi, Roger Waters, Billy Joel and Jimmy Buffett. Guys...this weekend...we're all ears.
