SPOTLIGHT: The Artists and Writers Softball Game

On August 16 at Herrick Park in East Hampton, the 60-year tradition will play out, beginning with batting practice at 1:30pm and the game at 3pm. With early players including such names as Willem de Kooning and Jackson Pollock, the roster has evolved over the years to include a diverse group of celebrities: Yogi Berra, Alec Baldwin, Matthew Broderick, Bill Clinton and Christie Brinkley among them.
