FUNDRAISER FOR DOG- Attend a fundraiser at Jeni’s Main Street Grill on the Main Road (Rte 25) in Southold (Across from Rothman’s Dept. Store) from 7 a.m. – 3 p.m. This is for a dog named Audrey that was the subject of a brutal beating by an unknown individual. All of the tips will be donated to Audrey’s Fund. Also homemade dog biscuits and various desserts will be for sale with all proceeds going to Audrey’s Fund. There will additionally be a raffle drawn for a gift basket. IT’S NOT EASY BEING GREEN- Atlantis Marine World, Long Island’s own full-scale Aquarium, is located in downtown Riverhead on 3.2 acres along the scenic Peconic River. Each month, Atlantis Marine World invites its guests on a adventure of exploration, discovery, and family fun with themed events, activities, and exhibits on the weekends and over school breaks. This month, all things lean toward green at Atlantis Marine World. Join us for green-focused fun – including a green animal scavenger hunt that will show you “It’s Not Easy Seeing Green!” Complete with experiments and interactive presentations, crafts, story times, and a scavenger hunt, the dates are: March 10 and 11, 17, 18, 24, 25, and 31. PATRICK’S DAY PARADE- 2 p.m. check out the St. Patrick’s Day parade that starts at Cox Lane and heads west to Case’s Lane in Cutchogue, with five fire departments, school bands, local businesses, animals and more. CAROUSEL – The Greenport Village carousel in Mitchell Park is open Saturdays, Sundays and school holidays from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Info for all facilities at the park including the ice rink and camera obsura can be found by calling 631-477-2200.

CUSTER OBSERVATORY– Weather permitting Custer staff will be on hand to assist visitors in observing the night sky using their telescopes. From sunset until midnight in Southold. Call 631-765-2626.
