Ruvo Restaurant in Port Jefferson, now offers a three-course prix fixe lunch. The special offer is available Monday through Saturday from 11:30 a.m. until 4 p.m. and from noon until 4:00 p.m. on Sunday. Sample menu items include escarole and white bean soup, organic greens with Pecorino Romano, grilled salmon with saffron aioli, multigrain penne primavera, and veal scaloppine with artichokes and sundried tomatoes. Annona Restaurant in Westhampton Beach, makes Sunday dining twice as nice with a $26 three-course prix fixe and bottles of wine at half-price from 5:30 until 9:30 p.m. through Sunday March 4. The prix fixe is also available on Wednesday and Thursday. The predominantly Italian wine list with 170 bottles features regional labels that range in price from $26-1000 dollars, that are reduced to $13-500 dollars each Sunday. The modern Italian menu showcases Long Island bounty with Mediterranean touches in a unique location. The restaurant sits atop a 16,000 square foot showroom of cars that are the cream of the crop such as Rolls-Royce, Bentley, Lamborghini and Ferrari. The cost of the menu is $35 per person, plus tax and gratuity and includes choice of salad, appetizers, side dishes, pasta, entrées, dessert and coffee or tea. Liquor options vary for an additional $10 to $17 per person. Nick & Toni’s in East Hampton, has added some new menu items prepared by Executive Chef Joseph Realmuto. Some of the menu items include pizzetta with wild mushrooms, grana and arugula, oven roasted calamari with fingerling potatoes, salsa verde and baby arugula, Di Parma pizza with tomato, prosciutto and robiola, Fazzoletti with braised rabbit and cavalo nero, Monk Fish with cavalo nero and roasted winter squash, and Pineland beef short ribs with winter vegetable purèe and gremolata. Menu items include the Patio Salad with baby greens tossed in a Roma tomato balsamic sour on a bed of feathered cucumber with crumbled Boursin cheese in an herbed tomato bowl, horseradish and gorgonzola crusted grilled New York strip perched atop a mound of shallow fried Tuscan white bean and beef jerky potato hash with 20-year-old tawny port demi-glace and Westhampton Beach scallop and shrimp stuffed tilapia with garlic whipped potatoes, Parmesan spinach and sherry leek cream sauce.
