NAUTICAL BUT NICE- Greenport, “The Sirens’
Song Gallery” presents “...Nautical But Nice”.
Limited edition contemporary prints, book arts, sculpture, and unique

by Caroline Waloski, running concurrently with her Solo exhibition

FRIDAY, DECEMBER 15
ART EXHIBIT- The Suffolk County Historical Society
is pleased to present the exhibition “Caroline M. Bell and
the Peconic Bay Impressionists,” the first comprehensive exhibition
devoted to the North Fork impressionist, her peers, and students
– known collectively as the Peconic Bay Impressionists. The
exhibit will be on view through April 30, 2007. 631-668-7507.
LIGHT THE MENORAH- 5:30 p.m. is the time that
you are going to want to head down with the North Fork Reform Synagogue
and Cutchogue Historical Society and celebrate Hanukkah at Cutchogue
Village Green. Lighting of menorah followed by potluck dinner at
Cutchogue Presbyterian Church at 6. At 7:30 p.m. NFRS members light
their own family Menorahs after dinner, followed by children and
Rabbi Jessica Marshall presenting story of Hanukkah.
KNIGHTS OF COLUMBUS- 5-7 p.m. enjoy an all-you-can-eat
Family Dinner Night hosted by Knights of Columbus Marian Council
3852 at K of C Hall, Cutchogue. Adults, $10; children, $5. Proceeds
support charitable efforts.
HOLIDAY CELEBRATION- Beginning at noon check out
the holiday celebration hosted by Woman’s Club of Riverhead
at United Methodist Church of Riverhead. Entertainment provided

HOLIDAY BENEFIT AT DeCORDOVA- From Nov. 25- to
Dec. 27 enjoy a holiday benefit show for Maureen’s Haven,
an organization that provides shelter for the homeless during the
winter months on the East End. Will feature paintings by twenty

SKATE DAY- Burton Potter Unit 185 American Legion
Ladies Auxiliary will sponsor a Christmas Family skate day today
from 1 p.m. until 4 p.m. at the Legion Pos on Third Street in Greenport.
Children must be accompanied by an adult. Admission is $5 per person.
There will be a discount for large families given at the door. Please
bring your own skates. There are a limited number of skates available

Gniewek Brauer gives a lecture and musical performance featuring
the armonica, a musical glass instrument invented by Benjamin Franklin,

ART RECEPTION IN MATTITUCK- ‘Small Works’
Photography Exhibition at Image Gallery at Love Lane Photo 12830

Photographers Group will have a Holiday Exhibition and Sale at Love
Lane Photo beginning on Monday, December 11th through Saturday,
January 11th. A special Opening Reception will be held today from

on exhibition will include Virginia Aschmoneit, Ken Rubino and Gerry
Giliberti, who currently has work on exhibit with such photographic
illuminaries as Richard Avedon, Ralph Gibson and Elliot Erwitt.
