East End Kid: Miami Zoo
By Emily Hart Post
With a little help from Katlean de Monchy and David Post
South of Miami is a zoo that is so large that you just can't walk it, you need to take a tram or a peddle bike around. I went with Dad and his friend's kids. We worked the dads pretty hard, wanting to go to almost everything. We saw lots of animals, and in the petting zoo we got up close and personal with small, sweet animals. We saw white tigers, monkeys that put on a show for us, snakes that we actually petted (with the trainer holding them) and we got to ride on the merry-go-round. That was Dad's favorite part because he had a chance to sit down for a few minutes. This is a great zoo and maybe even bigger than the San Diego Zoo, which I have also been to before.
PARTY - PARTY - LET'S GO TO THE PARTY. If you have an event and want us to cover it, or a party email my dad and maybe we can be there. oo
