Montauk photographer Bruce Weber shot Twilight star Robert Pattinson in locations across the East End-including the cliffs of Montauk-for the teen heartthrob's photo spread in the December issue of Vanity Fair.

Elijah Wood and Malin Ackerman, in town to film The Romantics, were spotted singing karaoke at the Whiskey Wind Tavern in Greenport.

Hamptons resident Rudy Giuliani has reportedly ruled out a run for governor, but is planning two other campaigns: one for Democrat Kirsten Gillibrand's seat in the Senate, and another for President Obama's seat in the White House in 2012.

Celebrity chef Bobby Flay is reportedly building a new "green home" on a three-acre tract of vacant land that he recently purchased for $1.485 million in Amagansett, not far from property owned by Alec Baldwin.

Hamptons residents Kelly Ripa and Mark Consuelos will return to the Las Vegas chapel where they exchanged vows in 1996 for a segment to air on "Live! With Regis and Kelly" next week. Irina Shabayeva, season six winner of "Project Runway," will design Ripa's wedding gown.

Amagansett's Paul McCartney will receive the Library of Congress's Gershwin Prize in an awards ceremony at the White House early next year. The award was created in 2007 to celebrate popular music and artists' contribution to the musical world. Previous winners include Paul Simon and Stevie Wonder.

Renowned author and Stony Brook University English professor Roger Rosenblatt is one of three finalists in the running for the prestigious Robert Foster Cherry Award for Great Teaching. The biennial award given by Baylor University comes with a $200,000 prize and informal recognition as the nation's best college teacher.

Jean Mackenzie, owner of Clamman and Four Seasons Caterer, both in Southampton, has become a target of Four Seasons Restaurant owner Alex Von Bidder. Von Bidder's lawyers have sent Mackenzie a cease-and-desist letter stating that her use of the name violates the New York restaurant's trademark rights.

Ross School senior Luke Hopping received the Best Delegate award at the Model United Nations Conference at Brown University last weekend. The conference at Brown is the most competitive Ross students attend all year and one of the most competitive in the country.
