Oh boy, the fall is flying by and the leaves are coming down like the first snow of winter. The shops are gearing up for the upcoming holiday season and the stores are already filled with holiday magic. It seems to me that the seasons are just blending into one another and there is no in-between - one day there is patio furniture on the floor and the next day, Halloween. Thanksgiving and Christmas merchandise has replaced the look of summer. Let's do some shopping!

The Hampton Coffee Company, all locations, has joined in this transition and is celebrating the new season with "the flavors of fall" from now throughout Thanksgiving. The cafés are featuring two new autumn favorites, Pumpkin Spice Latte and Pumpkin Spice White Mocha. Baked on premise are the pumpkin muffins, hot apple cider and freshly roasted pumpkin spice coffee. Don't forget to visit their newest location on Mill Road at the Bridgehampton National Bank in the Six Corners Roundabout in Westhampton. Stop in and have a brew.

It would not be holiday time without stopping into Bar Boy on West Montauk Highway in Hampton Bays to pick up your service equipment and supplies for the holidays. There is a "Thanksgiving Fall Special" in progress on chafing dishes, polished stainless (from $43.50 and up), jumbo Cardinal red wine glasses that are gift boxed for $20, cake, spring and loaf pans, restaurant-quality white bone plates ($36 per dozen), kitchen and food processors, and of course, plenty of holiday inspired paper goods at very affordable prices. Get going, before you know it, it will be sitting on your holiday table.

On Hampton Road in Southampton at the Little Frame Shoppe, look for reductions of up to 50% off on select merchandise. The shop is filled with unique and unusual home furnishings and accessories and if you are looking for those cutesy signs for your garden or kitchen, this is the place that you will find plenty of them. I love this shop; there are so many different little hostess gifts to choose from.

At Rum Runner, on Main Street in Southampton and East Hampton, you will find a "warehouse sale and floor model sale" on home and garden furnishings and accessories. Looking for that farmhouse table with chairs? They have them at this shop.

English Country Antiques on North Sea Road in Southampton is having a "fall sale" with 30% off everything in the store just in time for re-doing for the holidays. This store is filled with home furnishings and accessories galore. The Bridgehampton store, on Snake Hollow Road is offering 20% off sale on dining chairs, lighting, linens and framed prints, while the up to 30% off sale is on selected furniture.

In Eastport: Seatuck Stained Glass, 490 Montauk Highway is having a "clearance sale" from now until December 1. All the imported panels and lamps will be marked down 25%, purchases of two or more get a 30% discount. In addition to a full line of stained glass and fusing supplies the shop also offers classes, expert repairs, and commission work as well as many gift items.
