I found a much needed clock shop at 48A West Montauk Highway in Hampton Bays called Daughter Time. My beautiful wall clock was in need for maintenance and repair, so I took it to see the clock doctor, Alex Joseph who gave me the entire lowdown on what we have to do to keep our clocks ticking and chiming. Hot Off The Press: Shannon Willey, proprietor of the Broken Colour Works home décor store and studio in Sag Harbor and Southampton, will teach a course in decorative painting through the East Hampton school district's continuing education program. Students will learn the methods and techniques of decorative painting - from preparation to finishing - include distressing, glazing, strié.
