For a spooky dinner date, head to Q Restaurant, in Quogue, on Friday the 13th of October. They are having an interactive murder/mystery dinner and show filled with suspense, high action drama, criminal adventure, prizes, and more. On October 14th, Martha Clara Vineyards will be having a "Hens, Hogs and Harvest Festival" offering roasted and barbequed chicken and pork, and featuring local produce for $30 per person. Free introductory cooking classes presented by H & H Catering and celebrity Chef Marco C. Barrila will be held at Hampton Hall, in Southampton, on October 14 and 15. The Southampton Inn is hosting a "Tour of Italy" four-course wine dinner complemented by a selection of fine Italian wines on Thursday, October 26, at 7 p.m. The evening is priced at $65 per person, plus tax and gratuity. In Amagansett, Pacific East has announced their new fall schedule. They are now open Thursday through Sunday from 5:30 to 10 p.m. and Saturday until 11 p.m. Super Sushi will be on Sundays with all sushi 50% off. The prix fixe is offered all night on Thursday and Friday, and from 5:30 to 7 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday. For something new, head to Rowdy Hall which has just announced new items for its lunch and dinner menus. Some of the new menu items are warm lentil salad with green French lentils, endive, French garlic sausage and Dijon vinaigrette; salmon nicoise with salmon filets, fingerling potatoes, haircot vert, red onions, nicoise olives, tomatoes, capers and mixed greens for lunch; and for dinner there is local striped bass with braised escarole, garlic and tomato; and Shepherd's pie with braised lamb, carrots, peas, pearl onions and mashed potatoes. Jedediah's located within Jedediah Hawkins Inn, in Jamesport, is offering a three-course autumn prix fixe dinner menu for $29 per person. This prix fixe will be offered Sunday through Thursday starting at 5 p.m. Some sample menu items are Yellow fin tuna tartare with yuzu, sesame and soy; Sang Lee Farms mixed lettuces with organic flowers, roasted tomatoes, and Domaine Wölffer Verjus Vinaigrette; pan-seared salmon with braised North Fork greens, a potato pancake, and merlot glaze; sesame-crusted Hawaiian opah with coconut risotto, peanut teriyaki and pineapple chutney.
