POETRY WORKSHOP -10/12-11/2 - 6-8 p.m. Hamptons Young Writers is offering a poetry writing workshop for high school students ages 14 and up. Participants will write and discuss original poems in a supportive, challenging environment. PARRISH ART MUSEUM - Parrish Art Museum will launch a new roster of children's programs in collaboration with local libraries on the North and South Forks. Children who live in the participating school districts are invited to attend these free workshops, where they can create works of art in mixed media and learn about the fascinating history of artists who have lived and worked on the East End of Long Island from the late nineteenth century to the present.
