Geoffrey Bott, 62
Geoffrey Bott of Nautique National Flag in Westhampton Beach, formerly in Aquebogue, died at Peconic Bay Medical Center in Riverhead on September 27. The Aquebogue resident was 62 years old.
People will remember Geoff and his London double-decker bus from which he and his men, sporting can-do attitudes, delivered and installed flagpoles and flags all around the East End from the Nautique store.
He was born in Bristol, England on July 5, 1944 to William and Mildred (nee Wright) Bott. He is survived by his wife, Laura (nee Mooney) and a son, Geoffrey William George Bott, both of Aquebogue.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday at 2 p.m. at St. Mark's Episcopal Church on Main Street and Potunk Lane in Westhampton Beach. Reverend Ronald Wickey will officiate.
