The Long Island Fight for Charity organization, which raises funds by way of annual boxing events, wants to arrange a bout between Rodney King and ex-boxer Chris Seeger, the superstar class action lawyer. The attorney, whose firm now represents many of Bernie Madoff's victims, claims he's game and hopes that King will be, too.

In Greenport, Supreme Court Justice Sonia Sotomayor was at Salamander, Scrimshaw, Suki's and the Frisky Oyster Bar.

Pop star Rihanna recently visited several Hamptons hot spots, including the Montauk Yacht Club, AXE Lounge and Philippe East Hampton.

On Our Toes in the Hamptons, the annual performance and fundraising gala featuring Evidence, A Dance Company, returns for the sixth year. Founded by Ronald K. Brown, Evidence, A Dance Company is rooted in African Diaspora and Caribbean cultures. The gala will take place at the Water Mill residence of The Honorable Bernard Jackson and Joyce Mullins-Jackson on Saturday, August 22. Former CBS "Early Show" co-anchor and bestselling author Rene Syler will emcee.

The 34th annual Hampton Classic Horse Shows kicks off on Sunday, August 23 with exciting dog agility demonstrations by the ASPCA and SNAPDOGS, a Long Island-based K9 agility team. A Celebrity Canine Obstacle Course Half-Time Entertainment Show will be in the Grand Prix field, and include Aida Turturro and Buddy, Kristen Johnston and Pinky, Prince Lorenzo Borghese and James Bond, and Jill Rappaport and Petey.

Lauren Bush and her mom Sharon are hosting a Kid's Concert to help feed hungry kids at the Southampton Cultural Center on August 15. Laughing Pizza will perform. Tickets are $7/kids, $10/adults.

Ellen and Chuck Scarborough's dog Oliver will receive the ARF Medal of Valor at the ARF Beach Ball benefiting the Animal Rescue Fund of the Hamptons on Saturday, August 15. DJ Donna D'Cruz will rock the August 15 HEAT party benefiting Ellen's Run and the brand-new, state-of-the art Ellen Hermanson Breast Center at Southampton Hospital. Honorary Chairperson Stella McCartney, hosts Kim Cattrall, Steven Klein, Andre Balazs and Daphne Guinness and event chairs Candy Pratts Price and Hope Klein brought this hot event to fruition.

Blue Parrot continued to be the place for celebrity-spotting and Dirty Bird Margaritas this past week, as Sir Paul McCartney indulged in the Tex Mex fare on Saturday evening and dined with a female friend. The two were sampling the menu and ordered a variety of items to share. Also there was NY Jets' owner Woody Johnson and Jon Bon Jovi. Jimmy Buffett also paid a visit and returned for more Chipotle Guacamole the next day.

East Hampton's Michael Knigin, a NASA art team member presented two commissioned works of art to the National Air and Space Museum in Washington, D.C. These montages are the first digitally created pieces ever to be accepted into the museum's permanent collection.

Grand Prix Show Jumping Champion Hillary Dobbs, daughter of CNN anchor Lou Dobbs, will return to defend her title against the best equestrians in the world during the 34th Hampton Classic Horse Show. The $250,000 Grand Prix on Sunday, August 30, will broadcast live on WVVH-TV.
