East End Kid
Hill and bill on a hamptons hill
By Emily Hart Post
With a little help from Katlean de Monchy and David Post
It was a special treat for me to be invited to cover Senator Hillary Clinton's "Pancakes in the Hamptons" party in East Hampton. I want to thank our friend Robert Zimmerman for helping to make that happen. I have met Senator Clinton before and she has been wonderful to us. I played in the cool tree house until we saw former President Clinton (can I call him "Bill"?) and next President Clinton arrive. Then I went and sat in the front row. When Hillary saw so many kids at the event, she changed her presentation to be much more about children. Making sure all kids can get healthcare and a good education. Her rally cry was that someday people from all over the world when they meet will start by saying "how are the children?" After her speech I ran up onto the stage to be first to give Senator Clinton a big hug - and she hugged back!
