This was the weekend that was! The traffic was unbelievable, the events went on forever and ever, and shopping was plentiful. The stores were filled to capacity with tourists and shoppers from all over. Let's do some mid-summer sale shopping!

Noels on East Montauk Highway in Hampton Bays has fashions for the special, unique and the experienced...this adorable gift shop has lots to choose from for everyone on your gift list this season. Stop in and say hi!

Willy Nilly East is indeed a "Magical Emporium." This is a very special shop with fine women's clothing, accessories, jewelry, hats, wraps and much more than you can imagine. The shop features Vera Bradley and Brighton Galleries, along with Lois Hill, John Medeiros, Crislu and then some...you will love this shop!

At Style Paris on Jobs Lane in Southampton, there is a summer sale with 50% off the entire summer collection. They are clearing the shelves in order to make room for their inventory of new fall clothing. The 2007 Fall Collection of French couture clothing for women, featuring Loro Piana cashmeres, velvets and satins arrive the first week in August. The shop also has great off the rack pieces to choose from.

Pier One Imports on Montauk Highway in Southampton is having One Big Summer Sale with savings of 35 to 75% off...like summer, it will soon be gonesville! There are lots of great deals for dorm shoppers, so get going while the flavor lasts.

Mark your calendar for a "10-10-10 Event" at Theory Women's Clothing Boutique at 66 Jobs Lane in Southampton where you can shop for your summer fashions. While you are shopping you can browse serene "en plein air" landscapes pained by local artist Casey Anderson, and support the Peconic Land Trust. Theory and Ms. Anderson have teamed up for the July 28, 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. event, where shoppers can enjoy a 10% discount on all purchases during the weekend and a 10% donation to Peconic Land Trust will be made by Theory and Ms. Anderson on the sale of any merchandise. Refreshments will also be served.

This weekend at designer Jackie Rogers boutique ,located at 3 Newton Mews in East Hampton, she will be hosting a Trunk Show on Saturday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. The show will feature her fall collection and include a variety of options from her bold styles and fall fashions. Expert tailoring and a melange of luscious fabrics with textural accents, chic and easy-to-wear simple black crepe cocktail dresses for flirty young ingenues, sable and silver-fox trimmed sumptuous day-suits in silver and gold threaded tweeds and hound's-tooth with accents of black patent-leather trims for those well-heeled ladies of prominence. Ethereal gowns in double-ply ombre chiffon, jewel-toned silk satin gowns in sapphire blue, ruby red and amethyst, drop dead gorgeous "red carpet gowns" are just a few of the items that will be up for sale. At Gail Rothwell, 66 Newtown Lane in East Hampton look for a Trunk Show on July 28, from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. with Antonia Miletto -Jewelry Designer from Venice, Italy featuring handcarved ebony and diamond pieces. Also Natascha Demner, New York City will be offering one-of-a-kind jewelry from her very own personal collection. If you are jewelry fascinate, this is one of the places to be this weekend.

Don't forget to stop into Gone Local Gallery on Main Street in East Hampton for a last peak at "The Enchanted World Of Amy Zerner" exhibition of her NEA award-winning fabric collage wall hangings and clothing that are for sale until July 26.
