Mike Vilensky's Mini-Movie Reviews

Who's Your Caddy
Outkast's Big Boi stars in this golf comedy about a rapper and his entourage who are at odds with the president of a posh country club that won't accept him as a member. This one might hit too close to home here.

The Simpsons Movie
It's been a long wait for this highly anticipated big screen version of the small screen's most beloved cartoon comedy. The details have been kept top-secret but rumor has it that Springfield faces a toxic accident and full-frontal cartoon nudity is exposed! Doh!

Sicko
While keeping its sense of humor, Michael Moore's most moving documentary asks hugely important questions about the privatized healthcare industry. Is it liberally biased? Um, yes. But Moore's point of view is more than worth watching in this surprisingly emotional and convincing look at the state of healthcare, which is a far less boring subject than it sounds.

Harry Potter and the Order of Phoenix
Almost as intensely paced as the book its based on, the dark fifth Potter film does some justice to my favorite book of the series. Some of Rowling's words will just never translate to the screen, but at least the evil Professor Umbridge and enigmatic Luna Lovegood are portrayed with passion. I must not tell lies.

No Reservations
The life of a neurotic, high-strung chef played by CZJ is changed when she unexpectedly becomes sole caretaker of her young niece. A remake of the critically acclaimed German film "Mostly Martha," this romantic drama will likely hold the interest of adults. Some of them.

I Know Who Killed Me
I know who killed you too, Lindsay Lohan. The booze! The drugs! The enablers! I'm kidding, I love you.
