East End Kid: On the circuit

This was my first day of the summer when I went with Mom and Dad to events and I covered the kids and the animals. I went first to polo where I saw my friend Morgan and we walked around and were told we looked "cute." We watched polo for a while and one part was right in front of us! After, I met some other kids and we went to the second party, which was to benefit the Wildlife Rescue Center. If you remember I had covered the story about a seal being rescued and put back into the ocean and now I met the people who work hard to save animals. My favorite animal was an opossum although the hawk and the owl were also cool. The opossums were so cute and they let me pet them. The people who help rescue the animals were so nice and gave us great information about these wild animals. Doing the party circuit was real fun.

DO THE CIRCUIT WITH EMILY - would you and your child like to be selected to go with Emily on a Saturday or Sunday to one or more kid events and be in the column along with her as well? All you have to do is to send an email to david@starinme.com (that's Emily's Dad) and we will select one parent and child to go with Emily to one or more events. If you think that will be fun (we do) then just send us an email. We will not use the email for any other reason other than the selection process. Deadline for emails is August 15.
