FUN COUTURE- Friday, July 27, 5-9 p.m. attend a fashion show hosted by Friends of Mattituck-Laurel Library at Vineyard 48 Winery, Cutchogue, features designs by Adrienne Landau; proceeds to benefit construction of addition to Children's Room. HOE DOWN- First annual Haute Hoe Down to benefit Island Harvest, which provides surplus food for those in need, at Martha Clara Vineyards, Riverhead, features designer runway show, art installation, designer and artist market, wine dancing and more. PAINTING EXHIBITION- "Painting by Gladys Wiles N.A" opens. The exhibit will focus on the works of the North Fork painter. WINEPRESS CONCERT SERIES- Hugh Prestwood and Friends will perform at Castello di Borghese in Cutchogue. The concert begins at 6 p.m. and tickets are $15 at the gate or available for advance purchase (children under 12 are free). Bring lawn chairs, or blankets and your own picnic. LOBSTERFEST- Saturday, July 28, 4-8 p.m.: Sixteenth annual Southold & Greenport Rotary Lobsterfest sponsored by Bridgehampton National Bank at The Wharf House, Founders Landing, Southold, to benefit community service projects. Event features lobster or steak dinner, children's hamburger or hot dog plate, mussels, corn on the cob, watermelon, lemonade, live music by the Mangos, cash bar and raffle. COMING UP

SENSUALITY & SURREALISM-opening reception on August 4 from 6 to 8 pm at the deCordova Studio & Gallery located at 538 Main Street in Greenport. The viewer enters the world of the Surrealist and its connection with the Sensual. Paintings by Hector deCordova, Guillermo Espinasse , Dom Lamontanaro, Ruth Nasca and Tom Wasik involve the viewer and allows them to participate in the creative process. The evocative photography and sculpture of Bob Lefferts, Walter Schwab and Arnaldo Morales make for a dynamic and haunting exhibit.Show runs until Sept. 16th. JUNIOR GOLF- The town of Southampton Parks and Recreation Department is now accepting registrations for Junior Golf Camp held at Indian Golf Course in Riverhead. OPERA- The Southold Historical Society welcomes the Opera Company of Brooklyn to perform at the Horton Point Lighthouse. GREENPORT GALLERY WALK- On the third Saturday of every month from June through December (6-9 p.m.), a select group of galleries will open their doors for an evening of gallery hopping.
