New York Governor David Paterson and Senator Kirsten Gillibrand attended the Empire State Pride Agenda's fundraiser in East Hampton last Saturday. Gillibrand was seen from Riverhead to Wainscott last weekend, on a fundraising mission which began at the Hampton Synagogue Saturday morning, and ended at private events.

East Hampton's Jerry Seinfeld will soon become the face of Newcastle's Greater Building Society, an Australian bank. He recently filmed a commercial for the company in Cedarhurst, NY.

Hamptons regular Katie Lee Joel is reportedly opening a new restaurant in New York City called Burger County. Helping get the business off the ground are partners Charlie Walk and Sean Largotta.

East Hampton gallery owner Ruth Vered showed a silk-screen portrait of Michael Jackson created by Andy Warhol at ArtHamptons. Vered has temporarily delayed the auction of the painting, which could go for as much as $10 million.

Last Saturday, Renée Zellweger hosted an impromptu get-together at the Blue Parrot in East Hampton. The rumored silent investor hosted dinner and drinks. She and guests were later seen dancing atop the banquettes.
