Save the Fireworks!

For almost 30 years, Three Mile Harbor has played home to a spectacular show of fireworks in mid-July. The event is now part of the Rock the Harbor fundraiser and provides family friendly entertainment while passing on all contributions to regional and local charities. But due to the lackluster economy there are no guarantees that this year's show will go on.

The Clamshell Foundation, which is run by all volunteers and seeks to enrich East End communities, is asking the general public to step up to the plate and see that the sky is lit up July 18. They are in desperate need of sponsors to pledge money to purchase the Grucci fireworks.
