Amagansett's Sarah Jessica Parker was pulled over on Route 27 last weekend for driving at dusk without headlights on. After telling police she didn't know how to work the new car's lights, the "Sex and the City" star was let go with instructions and a warning.

Famed photographer Spencer Tunick continued his global installation of nude art at the Montauk Lighthouse this week. According to one participant, 400 people gathered in the morning to be shot in the buff on the bluff.

In other Montauk news, that small town was recently ranked eighth on Surfer Magazine's list of the Top 10 Best Surf Towns in America. The magazine claimed Montauk has everything a surfer could need, including good waves and a beautiful coastline.

Amagansett's Alec Baldwin, who was seen last weekend at the EcoFabulous in the East End benefit, reveals in an upcoming interview with Playboy magazine that he will soon be writing a book about parenting.

Hamptons regular Madonna has enlisted good friend and Amagansett resident Gwyneth Paltrow to decorate her adopted daughter's bedroom.

The Ross School's Sixth Annual Live at Club Starlight Benefit raised more than $500,000 for scholarships last weekend. In attendance were Jay McInerney, Seth Meyers, Alexa Ray Joel, James Ingram, Christie Brinkley, Ramona Singer, Countess LuAnn de Lesseps and Elie Tahari.

Local writer Mary Cummings has written a historical memoir of Southampton Hospital entitled 100 Years of Healing. The memoir includes stories and photographs chronicling the hospital's history since 1908, and is available at BookHampton in Southampton for $25. All proceeds benefit Southampton Hospital. Young Hamptonites have found a hot Sunday spot on the lawns behind the hedges surrounding the Southampton Inn. Enjoying the brunch-meets-pool-party last weekend were house DJ Derrick Reason, Sidi Belqaid, Liz Derringer, Prince Justin DiCosolo, Ina Sunshine, Lena Gutauskaite and Shane Moan.

Following her show at Stephen Talkhouse in Amagansett, Alexa Ray Joel celebrated with her mother, supermodel Christie Brinkley at the Blue Parrot in East Hampton. The duo was seen talking and laughing over the Tex Mex fare with a group of close friends, in celebration of the rising star's performance.

Sara and Rebekah Maysles, daughters of indie filmmaker, Albert Maysles, have just released a new book, Grey Gardens. It is filled with never-before-seen film stills from the Maysles Brothers' 40 hours of filming the original movie in East Hampton, of which only an hour and a half was used for their 1975 movie. This new book also contains press clips, photographs, and posters about the movie, as well as letters from fans of Grey Gardens from all over the world. Albert Maysles kicked off the book launch with a party at his Manhattan offices on June 13.

Knicks point guard Chris Duhon will host the 5th annual Hamptons Golf Classic on Monday, June 29th, to raise money and awareness for his Stand Tall Foundation. Giants star Justin Tuck will putt it out with Golf Classic founder, Zev Norotsky, all to help rebuild basketball courts in Duhon's hometown of Slidell, Louisiana (that was uprooted in the wake of Hurricane Katrina).
