The Patio at 54 Main in Westhampton is now open and located at the former site of The Patio. Owner Dwayne Kirchner has revamped the restaurant presenting a sleek modern design. Arthur "Chip" Cheek, who has more than 25 years experience, has been brought on board as the general manager. Newly appointed executive chef Katherine E. Kane will be at the helm in the kitchen. The inaugural fundraising event, "Breath of the Hamptons," will take place on Saturday, July 7 from 5-9 p.m. at Diamond Ranch in Bridgehampton. The event will benefit the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation and will feature the finger lickin' southern BBQ of Turtle Crossing in East Hampton. Breath of the Hamptons is presented by The Jeffrey A. Altman Foundation, Owl Creek Asset Management, Keith & Laura Barket and Angelo, Gordon & Co. Enjoy a fun filled evening with food, local wines, dancing, kids, games and more. Hors d'oeuvres and cocktails will be served from 5-6 p.m., followed by dinner and live music performed by The Annie Morgan Band from 6-8 p.m., and to cap off the night, dessert and dancing from 8-9 p.m. Tickets are $250 per person; family packages are available for $600 and include two adult tickets and children under the age of 18; corporate packages begin at $2,500. The Beacon in Sag Harbor introduces a new lunch service on Friday, Saturday and Sunday from 11:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. beginning Friday, June 22. Spectacular views of Sag Harbor Cove may be enjoyed along with a new lunch menu by Executive Chef Sam McCleland.
