“Amelia,” by Eileen R. Miller |
Eileen R. Miller is a Color Field painter who creates color atmospheres that often refer to seasons, mood, or weather by pouring and hand rubbing pure pigment powder onto pastel boards. Her painting "Beyond the Lagoon" placed first among more than 5,000 international entries in the abstract/nonobjective category in the prestigious Pastel 100 Competition. She currently maintains a studio and residence in Wilmette, IL just outside of Chicago.
Ted Asnis has been an artist in residence for 25 years now. His powerful beach scenes and lush landscapes adorn the walls of many Hamptons residences. Hamptons polo matches are one of Asnis' favorite subjects and have attracted many collectors. More recently, Asnis has been painting portraits. In addition to his original work, many collectors have commissioned paintings of places special to them. His paintings are available for purchase directly at his studio in Sag Harbor by calling 631-725-3594.

Sheila Isham
|
The art of Sheila Isham brings the viewer into an esthetic realm of nature and spirituality. For Isham, the human and animal worlds are one, and it is this wise community of nature that inhabits her canvases. Edward Solanski, critic for The Philadelphia Inquirer, noted: "Isham's work is ultimately not about describing or symbolizing but about generating life force."
