Former mayor Rudy Giuliani and John McCluskey of Amagansett got into a heated altercation on a Bridgehampton street last weekend. McCluskey was arrested and charged with harassment.

Celebrities aplenty spent Memorial Day weekend in the Hamptons. Eliza Dushku was spotted at the Surf Lodge in Montauk. John Legend, Chrissy Teigen and Bethenny Frankel were seen at the Montauk Yacht Club. Sean Avery played doorman at Lily Pond. Brett Ratner and Stavros Niarchos tried out Georgica. And Tina Louise (from "Gilligan's Island") shopped in East Hampton.

Rumor has it that the Jonas Brothers are searching for a Hamptons summer rental. In the running is Joe Farrell's Sandcastle, a 31,000-square-foot manse that comes with a performance stage and fog machine. Two weeks in this extravagant East End getaway will set the pop sensations back $500,000.

Once again, Southampton's Coopers Beach and East Hampton's Main Beach have been voted among the Top 10 Beaches in the United States by "Dr. Beach." Dr. Stephen P. Leatherman, director of the Laboratory for Coastal Research at Florida International University, gave Coopers (#3) a slight edge over Main (#6).

Jay McInerney and Anne Hearst hosted a dinner at their Water Mill home last weekend. Celebrating the holiday with the author and his wife were Nicole Miller, Eric Ripert, Rick and Kathy Hilton, Keith and Ann Barish and Jonathan and Somers Farkas.

Dragon's Head, Calvin Klein's famed Southampton Village home, started to come down last week. Klein's application to build a sleek, contemporary structure in its place was passed by the Zoning Board on April 23.

USA Network is offering four-day trips and tote bags filled with summer essentials in their sweepstakes promoting "Royal Pains," a new show about a city doctor who starts practicing in the Hamptons. Former New York Ranger and Hockey Hall of Famer Rod Gilbert has put his Sag Harbor house on the market. The 3,000-square-foot home, built in 2008, is listed for $2.395 million. It's also available as a summer rental for $79,000.
