The summer season in the Hamptons has officially arrived. The beaches were packed over the weekend and so were the shops, with people from all over the entire world. The traffic was unbelievable, so I stayed close to home, attending a BBQ to toast and welcome the summer!

Did you know that The Elegant Setting on Main Street in Southampton now offers fine custom embroidery for fine linens, new and vintage tabletop, and select gift items? They can work with any design or create a custom design including monograms, motifs and images, drawing from over 200 fonts and 300 different thread colors. Just a reminder that Country Gear of Bridgehampton is having a part two sale; their famous barn sale on Saturday, May 31 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m., with a rain date on Sunday, June 1.
