If you are a Jackie Rogers fan as I am, you will love her new shop that has just opened and is off and running for summer fashion setters. The store opened with the new sportswear line made exclusively for Southampton called "Gin Lane" by Jackie Rogers. Southampton in the 1930s inspires the collection. Included in the mix is a couture line with from fabulous blouses to amazing gowns. The store will be open Monday Saturday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Sundays from noon to 5 p.m.

For the 2008 season, The Elegant Setting has joined forces with The Printery, (iprintery.com) a distinguished fine printing company established on Long Island in 1881. Custom printing and engraving services are now available at a new boutique outpost located within the shop. All types of fine stationery are offered including note cards, invitations, birth announcements, social calling cards and holiday cards. A printing and design specialist is available to assist clients with monograms, engravings, images and even custom designs. Call or stop in for a consultation and to view the selections. Off the beaten path and in one of the oldest carriage houses from the 1700s in the quaint community of Water Mill, you will find Yigal Azrouel's second freestanding retail boutique. Yigal has once again collaborated with designer Dror Benshetrit for interior design in a whitewashed house with large French windows and a small garden. The boutique will carry Azrouel's women's and men's ready-to-wear clothing, accessories, Yigal Azrouel for K-Swiss sneakers and the Yigal diffusion line. Inspired and influenced by everything from art and culture, it is important to stock his own favorite finds such as Hierbas de Ibiza unisex fragrance, D&L Candles, cult classic DVDs from Criterion Films and unique vintage finds from eyewear to jewelry. The collection is currently sold in over 140 locations internationally.

If you want to walk on the wild side, The Furniture Garden is the wildest yet. Direct importer and designer Deanna Annis has recently opened another location in Water Mill, choosing the best of Southeast Asian indoor and outdoor teak and mahogany furniture and unique home accessories. Featuring one-of-a-kind hand crafted teak and ebony oversized slab tables as well as antique and custom designed pieces. The store is open and will be celebrating the official grand opening on Saturday, June 21 and everyone is invited.

The eponymous upper East Side salon that is so in-demand it opened a second location a few blocks away from its Madison Avenue flagship location is gearing up to open their Hamptons location for the third summer. Hamptonites and those who "summer in the Hamptons" can continue to look the part when frolicking in the sand and sun. The salon will be bringing beauty to you providing cuts, blowouts, color, Kerastase deep-conditioning treatments, extensions, hair relaxing and Brazilian hair straightening (without the formaldehyde). Regular clientele include Lauren Davis, Samantha Boardman, Caroline Kennedy, Marjorie Gubelmann Raein and Bettina Zilkha, to name a few. For your convenience, the staff will also be making house calls and the salon will be open Monday through Saturday, 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. (special hours are available upon request).
