Whispers with Gina Glickman

The Hamptons nightclub scene this past holiday weekend had an impressive turnout and promises to keep delivering all summer season long.

In East Hampton, Lily Pond nightclub rolled out the red carpet for a grand slam opening thanks to club powerhouses Unik Ernest and Michael Satsky, who successfully showcased their magic Saturday evening to a packed house with an intimate performance by Estelle at the Inocente Tequila launch party. Estelle didn't miss a beat and belted out several hit singles including "Just a Touch" and "American Boy." Celeb fan Whitney Port from MTV's hit series "The Hills" was spotted in the crowd mouthing the words to "American Boy." Post performance right next door, at Kobe Beach Club Restaurant (which officially opens June 7), I had the opportunity to sit down and interview Estelle who shared what it was like to work creatively with Kayne West. "He's real fine, but he's a cool guy. He really pushes the envelope you know. He's not scared to say his piece and do what he has to do. That's one reason I really wanted to work with him period." The bright-eyed beauty from London now calls NYC her home. I asked Estelle who her dream artist to collaborate with would be and she smiled big and exclaimed in her smooth British accent, "Mary J. Blige! You know I learned to sing from her. I didn't have vocal lessons. I listened to her taste and music and watched her performances. I was like that's how you do it. If I ever got to sing with her, I think I would just cry. It would be me crying in the background featuring Mary J. Blige. That's what would happen."

Leonardo DiCaprio and his supermodel girlfriend, Bar Rafaeli, made a stop at Dune Nightclub in Southampton this past Saturday evening. The couple arrived with an entourage of models. Leo avoided all photogs by hiding under a baseball cap. The lovely and talented Stella Keitel and Dave Zinczenko danced all night long alongside Bar's crew.

At La Playa (the old Tavern) in Southampton, Joel Madden DJed alongside his oldre brother Josh courtesy of The SKY Group's Alan Philips who brought the rocker and new daddy into the Hamptons for the weekend.

Sunday night, David Sarner's other hot-spot, Pink Elephant, which is just a few miles east of La Playa, hosted "America's Next Top Model" winner, Jaslene Gonzalez, who celebrated her 22nd birthday.

Lily Pond became socialite central Sunday night with Kelly Bensimon and Dylan Lauren. At 2 a.m., Kim Kardashian and her boyfriend football star Reggie Bush arrived causing a frenzy of excitement.

Get ready for this Saturday evening. We hear Victoria Secret supermodels will be taking over Lily Pond this weekend and hosting a birthday bash - gentlemen be prepared!

Until next week - Life is short, you only live once, so party on!
