Global Birthday Party!
On Saturday May 10, from 10 a.m.- 4 p.m., the Southampton Cultural Center will be transformed into the biggest birthday party on the planet. There is no admission fee for the event, open to kids of all ages. (Donations are gratefully accepted.) At the Global Birthday Party, kids "travel" around the world and experience international birthday traditions. Beyond balloons and goodie bags, this global blast will teach kids about other cultures through birthday celebrations that include games, crafts, storytelling and music. The event is sponsored by Respect All Cultures Everywhere-R.A.C.E. to a bully-free future, an organization dedicated to end bullying caused by lack of understanding by providing children with positive, authentic cultural experiences.
