The weather was perfect this entire week for spring-cleaning inside and out. Speaking of spring, you know it has arrived when you attend the Hamptons Home & Garden Show at the Southampton Elks Fairgrounds on Route 27, Friday, Saturday and Sunday, May 2-4. There will be over 200 local vendors as well as vendors from all over the country with resources, ideas and services that include free interior design consults, cooking demos, unique products, rare finds and great bargains. Hot Off The Press: Southampton's own Southampton Inn, located at 91 Hill St., is welcoming local residents for a limited number of swimming pool and tennis court memberships. A one-time fee of $1,000 for a family of four (two adults, two children under 16) or $700 for one adult will provide access to the Inn's all-weather tennis court and heated swimming pool (the latter surrounded by a luxurious table-and-umbrella-covered patio). In addition, members will be able to take advantage of the Inn's indoor game room, complete with big-screen TV, pool table, video games, a dedicated children's play area and fitness room. The Inn underwent extensive renovation earlier this year and an on-site restaurant will be completed in May.
