FUNDRAISER- 7-10 p.m.: "Friends of Hannah" present an evening at Martha Clara Vineyards, Riverhead, to benefit a local family. Donation: $75, includes one hour of open wine bar, food and raffles. NORTH FORK AUDUBON SOCIETY- 7:30 p.m.--'Basics of Bird Migration' presented by National Audubon Society at Inlet Pond County Park's red house, Greenport. Diana Van Buren, 631-477-0553. PSST!- 7 p.m. Bran Dougherty-Johnson screens and discusses his film projects 'Psst!1' and 'Psst!2' at Floyd Memorial Library in Greenport. "Psst!" produces original short films through collaboration of international teams of designers, directors and animators. 631-477-0660.

CULINARY DEMONSTRATION- 7-10 p.m. enjoy a culinary demonstration and food tasting with personal chef Duane Lewin at the Meeting House Creek Inn in Aquebogue to benefit the Riverhead High School music department senior students. POTLUCK DINNER BY EARTHSAVE- 6:30 p.m. go to the monthly potluck dinner hosted by EarthSave, which promotes healthy and planet-friendly food choices, at Cornell Cooperative Extension, Riverhead. Lecture follows dinner. Bring vegetarian dish that serves 6-8 people. 631-567-5280.

MARTHA GRAHAM ENSEMBLE- At 7:30 p.m. at the Southold High School Auditorium enjoy an amazing performance by the Martha Graham Ensemble. Presented by the Arts in Southold Town, enjoy an unbelievable choreographed performance by this famous dance group. Tickets are $30. Ticket reservations at 631-734-6320. INSECTS AND FLOWERS- From April 12-14 artwork will be accepted for East End Arts Council's 'Insects & Flowers' juried show. Guest juror: Laura Grenning of Grenning Gallery in Sag Harbor. Artists limited to three pieces that have not been exhibited previously at EEAC. Work (if applicable) must be framed and ready to hang, and be no larger than 30 inches wide by 40 inches high, with frame; sculptures: no larger than 72 inches high and 24 inches wide; maximum weight, 50 pounds. FUNDRAISER FOR STRUCK DOG- 3 p.m. the doors will open for a chinese auction at Greenport American Legion Hall to benefit Audrey, a dog who was beaten and badly injured in January. CANAL CAFE PRESENTS PO'BOY OYSTERS-Chef's Parker Hodges & Paul Hodges create their classic fried oyster Po' Boy for your enjoyment at Lieb Cellars. For those who don't know the Po'Boy (or poor boy) originated in New Orleans, Louisiana and being fried, makes a great alternative for those to timid for the raw thing. Mattituck. 631-298-1942

SOUTHOLD INDIAN MUSEUM- At 2:30 p.m. check out Doug Hardy as he presents 'Paddling Through Darwin's Laboratory,' lecture and slide show, at Southold Indian Museum. Donations accepted. 631-765-5577.

MUSIC AT TRINITY- 3 p.m. check out 'Music at Trinity' concert series begins with performance by pianist Yiyi Ku at Church of the Holy Trinity, Greenport. WEDNESDAY, APRIL 18 FASHION SHOW- 6-10 p.m., 'Swingin' Into Spring,' annual fashion show to benefit Our Lady of Mercy School, at Vineyard Caterers in Aquebogue. CUSTER OBSERVATORY- Weather permitting Custer staff will be on hand to assist visitors in observing the night sky using their telescopes. From sunset until midnight in Southold. Call 631-765-2626.
