POINT WOODS/BATTERY 113 HIKE (4 miles) - 3/28 - Hike trails lined with large beech, tupelo, American holly, oak and mountain laurel to the bluffs overlooking the Atlantic. We will pass Battery 113 in Camp Hero. There are a few steep areas and a number of stream crossings; one or two stepping stones. It's a beautiful hike in any season. Meet on Camp Hero Rd., a right turn off Rte. 27 in Montauk, about a mile east of Deep Hollow Ranch. Leader: Larry Raymond 631-668-3432.
