MUSE Restaurant & Aquatic Lounge in Water Mill presents Tapas, Fondue and Wine every Wednesday beginning at 5 p.m. Weekly tapas specials are offered with small bites and appetizers. The promotion also features half-priced wines by the glass. The menu changes weekly. Sample menu items include: Asian sweet and spicy chili sauce with seaweed salad; Italian pomodoro sauce and shaved Parmesan; cranberry and caramelized Vidalia onion compote; Buffalo style, Asian style, and Jamaican-style wings; Gruyere Cheese Fondue with warm Swiss and Boursin blend with grilled assorted breads, grilled asparagus, chorizo sausage and pickled jalapenos; and chocolate Fondue with warm chocolate sauce with fresh fruit and assorted cakes. Fresno in East Hampton will host its first wine dinner of the season in conjunction with Wölffer Estate Vineyards on Sunday, April 13 at 6:30 p.m. The price is $75 per person plus tax and gratuity. Reservations are recommended. Samples of the featured menu items, focusing on local ingredients by Executive Chef Gretchen Menser, are as follows: assorted tapas; local fluke tartare with radish, spring onions and cucumber with Wölffer verjus Vinaigrette; pan-seared local monkfish with littleneck clams in a tomato garlic broth with chili threads, peas and favas; braised pork belly with crispy potato cake, spinach and spicy fig cabernet franc sauce; local cheese with crostini and fruit compote; famous Fresno donuts with local honey and milk pail apple cider caramel. The Wölffer Estate Vineyard will host a Taste of the Mediterranean demonstration and luncheon on Sunday, March 30 at 12:30 p.m. Explore the intriguing taste of Greek cuisine with catering provided by A Small Affair. The cost of the demonstration with lunch and wine is $65 per person and $55 for wine club members. The menu includes: sautéed zucchini fritters with cheese, fresh mint, and tsatziki; day boat scallops wrapped in kataifi with fresh tomatoes, scallions and dill; and Greek yogurt with a fig, date, walnut and honey swirl. Jamesport Manor Inn in Jamesport will be featuring the wines of Macari Vineyards at the Macari Wine Dinner on Friday, March 28 at 7 p.m. The five-course tasting menu includes Macari Ice Wine, Early Wine, Chardonnay, Cabernet Franc and Merlot Reserve. Menu items include scallops; foie gras and creamy polenta; roast guinea hen; salad of lobster; asparagus and morels; braised lamb; and chocolate and Macari merlot crema. The Sixth Annual "Hamptons Restaurant Week, is scheduled for the last week of March from Sunday, March 30 through Sunday, April 6.
